Knitting pattern for American Girl dolls and other 18 inch dolls. It consists of three short sleeve summer sweaters and a knitted ruffle skirt.
The short sleeve sweater pattern has lace inserts which are slightly different and will produce a lovely inverted curve on the front hemline. The lace inserts have enough space to add your own embellishments too, such as embroidery, beads or buttons which makes these sweaters extra special.
There are two different variations for the neckline, a simple bind off or an industrial finishing found in upscale 'human' knitted clothing.
The ruffle skirt is very cute and is knitted with ruffle or lace yarn. As long as it has eyelets along the top edge to knit through, it will work. The skirt is a tight fit to compensate for the puffy ruffles.
