Crochet pattern for festive spring cardigan and skirt for 18 inch dolls.
The pattern is fully charted and has only minimal written instructions essential for following the charts. If you have never crocheted from charts only, without written row by row instructions, this pattern is not for you. The pattern will not teach you how to use charts. It is a challenging project but I hope you will give it a try.
The patterns featured a short jacket with set in sleeves, buttonholes and picot trim. An A-line multi panel skirt has a wide filet border. The bodice is embellished with small crocheter flowers and double leaves, small pearl beads are used for flowers' centers.
To work the pattern you will need crochet thread #5, crochet thread #20 (for flowers and leaves) and steel crochet hooks #6, #8 (1.75mm, 1.25mm) and #10 or#11 (1.00mm) for flowers and leaves.
The sample was crocheter using 100% acrylic crochet thread Artiste (Hobby Lobby brand) and DMC Cebelia cotton #20 for flowers/leaves.
